Project Description

The house has a flat roof and clean, geometric lines, typical of contemporary design. Is built on a sloped tiered, which is integrated into the overall structure with a series of terraces and retaining walls.

The model includes detailed landscaping, featuring numerous trees and shrubs. The trees are rendered in two distinct styles: tall, slender palm trees and more traditional, deciduous-like trees with textured canopies. The ground cover and bushes are depicted with a coarse, sponge-like material, suggesting dry or arid vegetation.

The entire model sits on a clean, white base, which is then placed on a wooden table. The overall aesthetic is minimalist, with the stark white of the building contrasting against the earthy tones of the landscape elements.

White architectural models are a fundamental part of the design process. Made from materials like foam board, cardboard, or plastic, these models are kept in a single color, typically white or a neutral tone, to focus solely on the form, mass, and spatial relationships of a building.

The absence of color, texture, and other distracting details allows the architect and client to analyze the core structure and its interaction with the surrounding environment. Without finishes or complex materials to consider, the model highlights the building’s proportions, light and shadow, and the overall flow of the design. This makes it easier to identify and resolve fundamental design flaws early in the project.
