Project Description
This is a scale model of a supermarket with its surrounding infrastructure. The model showcases a large, modern supermarket building alongside an extensive parking lot and integrated road network. The main building is depicted with a light-colored roof and walls, featuring large windows or glass sections along its facade.
A significant portion of the model is dedicated to a well-laid-out parking lot, complete with clearly marked parking spaces. Several miniature cars are strategically placed within these spaces, enhancing the realism. A distinct blue-framed structure in the parking lot represent a covered area for trolleys.
The model includes a miniature road system with painted lines, crosswalks, and a roundabout, simulating access to and from the supermarket. Sidewalks or pedestrian pathways are also visible. Green areas with miniature trees and shrubs are incorporated around the edges of the parking lot and along the roads, adding a natural and aesthetic touch to the model.
Miniature streetlights are placed throughout the parking lot and along the roads, contributing to the model’s realism. The entire complex is mounted on a grey base, which neatly frames the detailed scene.
The model effectively captures the typical layout and components of a contemporary supermarket with its associated parking and access routes.
The pieces were cut using laser technology, and the vegetation had the role of showing the specificity of the area, and how the trees would be planted compared to the supermarket. It used Plexiglas and PVC for the construction of the buildings and for the field melamine MDF, some areas being painted in colors received from the customer.
The modeling team strictly followed the representation of the project, including the important areas, respectively the main building and the parking spaces. Therefore, the project is not only functional, but also visibly appealing. It can also be seen in the model that the area around the buildings is highlighted by trees and grass.
